The AN/PSR-1A is a battery-powered seismic detector from the Vietnam era.
It can monitor up to four sensor loops and provide visual and audible (via headphones) warning of activity. |

Detecting Set, Intrusion AN/PSR-1A Operation and Maintenance January 1968
This PDF was assembled from individual page scans of a rather rough paper copy. The original paper document I received is missing the sheet with pages 7 and 8, so those two pages are not available in the PDF. |
The PSR-1 uses six (6) D-cell batteries. Be careful that the battery holder clips do not puncture the plastic outer casing of the battery, which would cause a short circuit. Wrap the batteries in tape where they contact the holder in order to prevent this occurrence. |
